How to transfer a domain to Onebux Hosting

Moving a domain from another registrar is straightforward:

  1. Unlock the domain at your current registrar (look for a “Transfer Lock” or “Domain Lock” setting).
  2. Get the authorization code (also called an EPP code or transfer key) from your current registrar — they will usually email it to you or show it in your account.
  3. In your Onebux client area, go to Hosting > Transfer in a Domain, enter the domain name, and submit the request.
  4. Enter the authorization code when prompted and complete checkout.
  5. Approve the transfer via the confirmation email sent to your domain's registered contact address.

Transfers typically take 5–7 days due to a mandatory industry-wide waiting period. Your website and email will keep working normally during this time as long as you do not change nameservers.
