How to Restore a Backup with JetBackup

JetBackup is the backup tool available on Onebux Hosting plans, letting you restore backups directly from cPanel or DirectAdmin.

Step 1: Log in and open JetBackup

Log in to your hosting control panel and find the JetBackup option.

Step 2: Choose a restore type

Full Backups revert your entire account to a specific date, removing anything added since — use with caution. Home Directory Backups let you restore specific files or folders without touching anything else, which is usually the safer, recommended option.

Step 3: Restore

Full Backups: Click the Full Backups square, pick a date, and click Restore.

Home Directory Backups: Click the Home Directory square, pick a date, click Change Files Selection, tick the specific files or folders to restore (this will overwrite any existing versions), click Select Files, then click Restore.

You can track restore progress on the Queue page within JetBackup.
