How to Create a PHP Info Page

A PHP info page shows your server's current PHP configuration, modules, and settings — useful for troubleshooting or verifying a PHP version change.

Step 1: Open File Manager

Log in to your hosting control panel and open File Manager.

Step 2: Create the file

Navigate to your public_html directory, click Create New File, and name it something like phpinfo.php.

Step 3: Add the code

Edit the new file and add:

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Save the file.

Step 4: View the page

Visit yourdomain.com/phpinfo.php in your browser to see your PHP configuration.

Step 5: Remove it when done

A PHP info page reveals server details, so delete phpinfo.php from File Manager once you are finished with it.
