How to Add a New Domain in DirectAdmin

Here's how to add an additional domain name to your DirectAdmin hosting account.

Step 1: Log in to DirectAdmin

Go to your DirectAdmin login page (usually yourdomain.com:2222) and sign in, or use one-click login from the Client Area.

Step 2: Open Domain Setup

In the Account Manager section, click Domain Setup.

Step 3: Add the domain

Click Add Domain and enter the new domain name. For Bandwidth and Disk Usage, we recommend ticking Same As Main Account for both. We'd also recommend ticking Secure SSL and PHP Access. Click Create to finish.

Step 4: Point the domain and issue SSL

Update the new domain's nameservers to point to your hosting account (these details were emailed to you when your hosting account was created). Once DNS has propagated, you can issue a free SSL certificate for the domain.
