Email Settings for DirectAdmin (IMAP, POP3 & SMTP)

Use these settings when configuring a third-party email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, a phone's mail app, etc.) for a mailbox hosted on your Onebux Hosting account.

IMAP (incoming, recommended)

  • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Username: your full email address
  • Password: the password you set when creating the mailbox
  • Port: 143 (unencrypted) or 993 (SSL/TLS)

POP3 (incoming)

  • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Username: your full email address
  • Port: 110 (unencrypted) or 995 (SSL/TLS)

SMTP (outgoing)

  • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Username: your full email address
  • Port: 587 or 465
  • Security: TLS

Tip: You can also download ready-made Outlook configuration files directly from DirectAdmin: go to Email Accounts, click the "+" next to the address, and choose Download Outlook Configuration.
