Creating an Email Address in DirectAdmin

Here's how to create a new email address for your domain in DirectAdmin.

Step 1: Log in to DirectAdmin

Go to your DirectAdmin login page (usually yourdomain.com:2222) and sign in.

Step 2: Open Email Accounts

Navigate to the E-Mail Accounts section.

Step 3: Create the address

Click Create Account, enter the desired username (before the @), choose the domain, set a strong password (use the password generator icon if you like), and set a mailbox quota (or tick "Max" for no limit). Click Create Account to finish.

Accessing the mailbox

Use the settings from our Email Settings guide to configure a desktop or mobile email client, or access webmail directly by going to yourdomain.com/roundcube and logging in with the new email address and password.
