Creating an Email Address in cPanel

Here's how to create a new email address for your domain in cPanel.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Log in to your cPanel account (usually at yourdomain.com:2083 or yourdomain.com/cpanel).

Step 2: Open Email Accounts

In the Email section, click Email Accounts, then click Create.

Step 3: Fill in the details

  • Username: the part of the address before the @.
  • Password: set a strong password for the mailbox.
  • Storage Space: how much of your account's disk space this mailbox can use.
  • Create Folders for Plus Addressing: automatically files messages sent to you+something@yourdomain.com into a subfolder — we recommend leaving this on.

Click Create to finish.
