WHMCS is billing and automation software many hosting businesses use to manage orders, invoicing, and account provisioning. This guide walks through connecting a DirectAdmin Reseller account to WHMCS.
Prerequisites
- A working DirectAdmin Reseller account.
- A working WHMCS installation (see our WHMCS installation guide if you still need to set one up).
Step 1: Add the DirectAdmin server
- In the WHMCS admin area, go to Setup > Products/Services > Servers.
- Click Add New Server.
- Enter a name, then the hostname/IP of your DirectAdmin server.
- Set Type to DirectAdmin, and enter your reseller username and password.
- Set Secure to Yes (recommended), then click Save Changes.
Step 2: Configure the product
- Go to Setup > Products/Services and click Create a New Group (e.g. "Web Hosting").
- Click Create a New Product.
- Set Product Type to Hosting Account, choose your new group, and set Module to DirectAdmin.
- Configure pricing and billing cycle, then click Save Changes.
Your DirectAdmin reseller account is now connected, and the product will appear in your store for customers to order.
