Managing Shoutcast (Admin Area & IP Banning)

Accessing Shoutcast's admin area

  1. Log in to CentovaCast.
  2. Go to Server > Admin — this opens your stream's Shoutcast page.
  3. Click Server Login in the top-right corner.
  4. Log in with username admin and your CentovaCast password.

Banning an IP or IP range

  1. From the Shoutcast admin area, click Ban List.
  2. Enter the IP address or subnet you want to block.
  3. Click Ban IP.

This is useful for blocking bots or dormant connections that are skewing your listener statistics.
