Adding Domains and Sub-Domains in cPanel

cPanel's newer "Jupiter" theme combines addon domains and subdomains into a single Domains interface. Here's how to add one.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Log in to your cPanel account, or use one-click login from the Client Area.

Step 2: Open the Domains section

Click the Domains icon in the Domains section of cPanel.

Step 3: Add the domain or subdomain

Click Create A New Domain and enter the domain or subdomain you would like to add.

Important: Untick Document Root unless you want the new domain or subdomain to share the same files as your account's main domain — leaving it ticked means both will use the same public_html folder.

Click Submit to finish.
